The Williams Award
This Award, our most prestigious, goes to the graduating Senior who, in the judgment of the school’s Faculty and Administration, best exemplifies the “final product” of an Archbishop Williams education. As such, it recognizes a student who strives to reach their potential in the classroom and out; who recognizes their strengths and challenges, capitalizing on the former and mitigating the latter; who is comfortable with themself and is desirous of learning all they can about the world of others; who gives of themself to others in need; who is loyal to all those people, entities, and causes they hold valuable; and, who has been a terrific representative of Archbishop Williams throughout their time here.

The Class of 2026 recipient of The Willliams Award was Elsie Vijjeswarapu, a resident of Braintree. Elsie excelled in the classroom and was named to the National Honors Society, National Spanish Honors Society, and Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honors Society. She was a valued member of the Student Council and Robotics team. She dedicated her years at Archbishop Williams to the Independent Research Program, where she conducted multiple experiments and presented her findings at various conferences throughout the greater Boston area. Elsie matriculated to Tufts University where she will study Biology as a part of the Pre-Med Program. We offer our best wishes for her continued success!
