Student Leadership

At Archbishop Williams, we believe that true leadership is rooted in a commitment to diversity.

Our student body is a vibrant tapestry of cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives, reflecting the values of the Catholic faith in fostering respect, understanding, and unity. Through various initiatives and student-led organizations, we strive to create an environment where every student feels valued, empowered, and heard. Our leaders are dedicated to ensuring that all voices contribute to the richness of our community, building a school culture where equity and inclusion are not just ideals, but daily practices.

Student Life Leadership Program

The Student Life Leadership Program is open to rising Juniors and Seniors interested in serving as leaders in our school community. This program helps develop students' leadership skills while also providing students with opportunities to work with various stakeholders in our community—underclassmen students, parents, prospective families, and alumni. Students selected for the program are passionate about making AWHS a better place to learn and grow. These students serve as representatives of AWHS in our larger community.

To me, leadership means confidence, not just in yourself, but in those you are leading. You need to trust others and listen to their ideas and perspectives. Molly O'Connor Grade 11

A leader can rise above the rest and show others the way. To me, leadership offers a friendly face to those who are scared, and a helping hand to those in need. Robert Cibotti Grade 12

Leadership to me is being able to guide someone to success. It is helping someone to become the best they can be.

Jennifer Jagiello Grade 12
