Step into the enchanted world of Disney's Beauty And The Beast JR. Featuring songs from the Academy Award-winning animated feature, this stage version includes music by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Archbishop Williams’ “The Beauty And The Beast” stars Senior Claudia Celluci as Belle and Sophomore Jason Pinto as The Beast & Prince. Senior David Free stars as Gaston and Senior Jenna Merserau stars as Lefou. Senior Sam Dore stars as Belle’s father Maurice with Junior Claire Speredolozi as the candle, Lumiere and Freshman Olivia McDonnell as the clock, Cogsworth.

"We are very excited to bring The Beauty And The Beast to Archbishop Williams this Spring," exclaimed Lisa Fasano, AWHS' Assistant Principal/Director of Grade 7&8 and also the Musical’s Director and Producer.  "What's even more exciting is to have students from all of our grades 7-12 involved in this production.  We look forward to the Archbishop Williams Community joining us to be entertained by this popular and well-known classic.”
