Matt Marks ‘85 named Boys Lacrosse Head Coach

Archbishop Williams High School Athletic Director Gordie McClay is proud to announce that Matthew Marks ‘85 will serve as head coach of the boys lacrosse program..

“We’re very happy to bring Matt aboard as an experienced coach,” McClay said. ‘We’re also happy because he is an alumnus who knows our school culture, who we are, and what we want to be.” 

Marks brings to the team his experience as a lacrosse coach and referee at Taunton High School and as coach in the Bridgewater/Raynham Youth Program. As an athlete at Archbishop Williams, he was a member of the varsity football and junior varsity basketball teams. 

“I’ve been involved with lacrosse for 12 years,” Marks said. “When I was at Archbishop Williams, they didn’t have lacrosse, but it’s my favorite sport now. I’m very excited and looking forward to getting going, having a winning record, and having fun!”
