Hall of Fame
Each year, Archbishop Williams High School dedicates a day to celebrating excellence within our community. At our Hall of Fame ceremony, we induct alumni into the Hall of Fame who have demonstrated excellence in academics and athletics. Those inductees are also recognized at our Blue and Gold Gala later that night.
Academic Hall of Fame Criteria
Induction is meant to recognize the cumulative body of an inductee’s work as it applies to academic achievement, both at Archbishop Williams High School and beyond.
Academic achievement at AWHS may be measured by any (not necessarily all) of the following:
- Has modeled a character that reflects the AWHS mission and tradition of excellence
- Valedictorian or Salutatorian honors
- National Honor Society Inductee
- Principal’s List Placement
- Class rank/GPA
- Service toward the academic success of others
- Risk taking or advocacy on behalf of academic achievement
Recommendation and/or testimony of teachers, staff, or fellow students Academic Achievement after AWHS may be measured by any (not necessarily all) of the following:
- Degrees earned
- Academic awards conferred
- Appropriate publications
- Academic potential realized
- Service toward the academic success of others
- Risk taking or advocacy on behalf of academic achievement
- Career-related accomplishments or distinctions

Athletic Hall of Fame Criteria
The Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes the outstanding abilities of both men and women in athletics. It is with this spirit and history in mind that we honor and recognize these distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to the Archbishop Williams athletic
program.
Eligibility:
1. Athletes
2. Coaches
3. Contributors
4. Athletic Directors
Criteria:
1. To be selected for induction, athletes must have made significant contributions to their team and school on the basis of playing ability, sportsman-ship, and leadership. Nominees must have graduated
at least five years prior to nomination.
2. To be selected for induction, coaches and athletic directors must have contributed significantly to the success of school athletics, and the promotion of sound educational values. Nominees must have served Archbishop Williams for at least five years.
3. To be selected for induction, contributors must have provided
invaluable benefit to the improvement and betterment of Archbishop Williams athletics.
