Grades 7 & 8 Academic Overview

Students and Chemistry Teacher

It's A Great Time To Be A Bishop!

With a long-standing track record of success as a high school, Archbishop Williams opened the doors to the Middle School program in September, 2014.  The AWHS Middle School program is designed to offer students entering 7th and 8th grade the opportunity to experience the rigors and opportunities of a high school environment while learning study skills and time management to help prepare them for successful high school and college years.  To round out the social side of school life, students are welcomed and encouraged to participate in all of the athletics and student life activities that are offered.

The teachers and I impart the tools and skills the students need to be ready for and successful in high school.

A Message from the Director of 7th & 8th Grade

My entire teaching career has been working with 7th and 8th grade students.  I have had the pleasure of working at Archbishop Williams as a Science teacher since 2014 and as the Director of the 7th & 8th Grade since 2015.  The 7th and 8th Grade students are a unique, challenging, eager, anxious and fun group of young adults.  We encourage students to get involved in the athletic and co-curricular activities.  The teachers and I impart the tools and skills the students need to be ready for and successful in high school.  We are able to combine the right amount of support, encouragement, focus, and motivation.  It is a great pleasure to watch these students grow and develop over the two years.
