AWHS Connect is an exciting new initiative designed to bring AWHS alumni and other affiliated professionals back to campus to share their career journeys, offer workplace insights, and provide practical advice for success in today's ever-evolving job market.
What is AWHS Connect?
AWHS connect is a speaker series that invites professionals from diverse fields to engage with students. These guest speakers—many of whom are AWHS alumni—offer valuable lessons on topics such as:
- Career exploration and industry trends
- Workplace etiquette and professionalism
- Interviewing skills and resume building
- Networking and leadership development
- Real-world problem solving and adaptability
Through classroom visits and interactive Q&A sessions, students gain firsthand knowledge and inspiration from those who have walked in their shoes.
Why it Matters
AWHS Connect provides students with a link to professionals who can inspire them as they begin thinking about their own future paths. By hearing real stories of career growth, challenges and success, students learn what it takes to thrive in different industries—whether in business, healthcare, law, technology, education or the arts.
AWHS Connect is more than a speaker series, it's a community driven initiative that empowers the next generation of leaders. Join us in shaping the future!
