All Students entering Grades 9-12 for the 2021-2022 school year (except those taking AP English) must choose ONE book from their grade level book list below AND complete the High School Thematic Notebook Form (link below).  AP students refer to your separate link.

Social Studies Assignments

**July 8 Update--Please note the removal of assignments for some Social Studies courses.  The two listed below are the only courses that have summer assignments.

Social Studies summer reads are listed below. All summer reads must be completed by the first day of class for the 2021-2022 Academic Year. Students will be assessed on their completion of their assigned summer read(s) within the first 1-2 week(s) of Quarter 1. Assessments may include any of the following: Discussion, Essay, Presentation, Quiz, Test, or other assessment of teacher choice with department approval.    


Students taking AP Science Courses should refer to Schoology to find the summer work.  The access code is XN7W-tJRD-6QXGK.
