Summer Enrichment
For the second consecutive year, AWHS offered its Summer Enrichment Program to middle students from throughout the region.
The program drew more than 150 students in grades 6 to 8 from area towns; participants developed their individual artistic, academic and athletic interest through a variety of courses held on the AWHS campus over a two-week period in June and early July. Featured courses included cooking, art, drama, fitness and animation.
"We could not be prouder of this year's Summer Academy and thank everyone who contributed to its success," said Carmen Mariano, President of Archbishop Williams High School. "This program, though only in its second year, has grown in every way - we served more students, offered more courses and welcomed more teachers than we could have hoped for and what's more and perhaps best, everyone had fun."
