VHS recognizes AWHS faculty for 10-year service
Jane Funderburk of Plymouth, Academic Dean at Archbishop Williams High School, was recognized recently on completing ten years as a partner with Virtual High School (VHS, Inc.). Craig Perrier, Coordinator of Curriculum and Instruction for Social Studies at VHS, presented her with an award in recognition of her service, efforts, and longevity.
VHS was established at Archbishop Williams High School in 2000 under the direction of Jane Funderburk. Through VHS, juniors and seniors expand their educational offerings and their worldview as they attend class with students from across the country and around the world. Students gain access to a wide variety of courses not typically available and have the flexibility to take these courses anytime and anyplace as best fits their schedule. VHS has 662 participating schools and 336 course section offerings.
