Archbishop Williams High School graduates 126 seniors

Braintree–New President and alum Dennis M. Duggan Jr., Esq. '70 delivered the 61st Archbishop Williams High School (AWHS) Commencement address on Thursday evening.

“Take risks; be willing to fail and overcome; advocate for yourself; and, don’t listen to ‘naysayers,’” Mr. Duggan told the 2013 graduating class. His address reflected on lessons he learned in a 30-year career in law going from a nighttime law student to full partner and Litigation Department Chair at the national law firm, Nixon Peabody. Mr. Duggan counseled the 126 seniors to “pray for the ability to get up off the mat one more time than life knocks you down.” He concluded with his “Top 10 List” for “success, no matter what obstacles and challenges life sends your way; no matter what anyone else says or thinks.”

Periklis (“Perry”) Sarakiniotis of Randolph gave this year's valedictorian address. Richard Chaudhary of Quincy gave the salutatorian address.
