On Thursday, Archbishop Williams celebrated Catholic Schools Week with a inspirational assembly featuring the internationally renowned speed painter and motivational artist, Rob Surette.

Surette’s hour-long program brought Catholic messages of hope, self-value, personal motivation and community leadership to the entire Williams' student body and faculty. The mission of Surette’s “Amazing Hero Art” is to inspire people to live lives greater than they ever thought possible.

Creating works of art live on stage mixed with dramatic music and lighting, Massachusetts Native Surette effortlessly created beautiful portraits of the Universe, Mother Theresa and Jesus Christ.

Reflecting on the messages that Surette directed towards the students, Principal Dr. Michael Volonnino commented, “I anticipate that  the message and impact of Rob Surette’s program will be one that lasts a long time here at Williams.  To be able to celebrate Catholic Schools Week in such a creative and powerful way epitomizes our students' motivation to learn and their journey through Christ.”
