Former State Representative joins AWHS Board

AWHS Board welcomes Joseph Driscoll, Jr. '88

Dr. Carmen Mariano President of Archbishop Williams High School, a leading Catholic, college preparatory high school is pleased to welcome Joseph R. Driscoll, Jr. to its Board of Trustees. "Joe will be an invaluable addition to our Board,” remarked Dr. Mariano.  “He is a lawyer, and a leader. I am proud to have him as a graduate and as a trustee."

Driscoll, a 1988 graduate of Archbishop Williams, received a Bachelor degree from Boston College. He later earned his Juris Doctor from New England School of Law and Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.  He is a former State Representative for the Massachusetts House of Representatives where he served the commonwealth for eight years.

Presently Driscoll is a Senior Vice President at O’Neill and Associates, one of the nation’s largest government relations and communications firms. He is the recipient of several accolades including the 2009 Massachusetts Coalition of Police, Legislator of the Year, the 2008 Nicholas Humber Environmental Award for Outstanding Collaboration/Environmental Business Council of New England, the Boston Bar Association’s Pillar of Justice Award and the 2008 Archbishop Williams High School Man of the Year Award. 

Driscoll resides in Braintree with his wife and children.
