Academic Hall of Fame (A Bishops' Ball Event)

Criteria

Induction is meant to recognize the cumulative body of an inductee’s work as it applies to academic achievement, both at Archbishop Williams and beyond. Academic achievement at Archbishop Williams may be measured by any (not necessarily all) of the following:

  • Has modeled a character that reflects the AWHS mission and tradition of excellence
  • Valedictorian or Salutatorian honors
  • National Honor Society Inductee
  • Principal's List Placement
  • Class rank/GPA
  • Service toward the academic success of others
  • Risk taking or advocacy on behalf of academic achievement
  • Recommendation and/or testimony of teachers, staff or fellow students

Academic Achievement after Archbishop Williams may be measured by any (not necessarily all) of the following:

  • Degrees earned 
  • Academic award conferred
  • Appropriate publications
  • Academic potential realized
  • Service toward the academic success of others
  • Risk taking or advocacy on behalf of academic achievement
  • Recommendation and/or testimony of teachers, staff or fellow students
  • Career-related accomplishments or distinctions
